Frank has been passionate about water sports ever since he was a teenager and it is therefore only natural that his passion should have become his profession.
As of 1994, he spent ten years at the UCPA French outdoor sports holidays association where he gained experience, first as a teacher of recreational sailing and then as a manager responsible for nautical activities and the training of instructors.
His job and his love of the sea have led him to travel around the world every year both to surf and to sail.
In 1997, he taught funboard on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands and obtained his State sport instructor's (Level 1) diploma with surf option (BEES 1er degré, option surf) in Hossegor in 2000.
Next, he was awarded his professional skipper's license at La Rochelle in 2004. This allowed him to sail yachts and to bring to fruition a personal project by crossing the South and North Atlantic as far the Antilles – an adventure that was to last 5 years.
